Frequently asked questions

How long does the full restoration take?

Each step takes 5–15 minutes depending on video length. The full Colorize + Face Restore workflow typically completes in 10–20 minutes. You can close the tab and we'll email the result.

What file formats and sizes are supported?

MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, MKV, and MPEG up to 50MB. Maximum video length is 5 minutes per upload.

Are my videos kept private?

Yes. Source videos are auto-deleted from our servers within 1 hour of upload. Results live in your gallery for 24 hours before deletion. All processing happens on EU-based infrastructure.

What does each step cost?

Colorize: 10 credits. Face Restore: 2 credits. Full workflow: 12 credits. New users get 5 credits free on signup; video colorize needs a credit top-up (packs from $1.49).

Why does video restoration need biometric consent?

Family videos contain faces, which under RODO Article 9 are biometric data. We require explicit consent before processing. It takes 30 seconds and you can withdraw it any time at /account/privacy.
